JoanFLAHERTY (NÉE HENNEBERRY, FORMERLY NEWTON)Joan FLAHERTY (NÉE HENNEBERRY, FORMERLY NEWTON) Joan passed peacefully away at home on Thursday 19 December 2024, aged 82 years. Much loved wife of Tommy. Loving mum to Tricia, Sarah and Graham and partners, Nelly, Nathan and Katie. Adored nanny to Abbie, Natalie, Rhys, Charlie, Erin and Bethan. A much loved sister, aunt and friend, who will be greatly missed.
Resting at James Summers Funeral Home until the Requiem Mass on Friday 17 January at 10am at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, St. Peter's Street, Roath, followed by interment at Western Cemetery, Ely.
Immediate family flowers only please. If you wish, donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Velindre Cancer Centre.
We would like to remember Joan by wearing a splash of colour and/or sparkle to celebrate her life.
